My Blue and Gold Macaw, Kiwi loves your herbal lip balm! Once she sees it, she climbs, swings and jumps to get it and she pokes at me to give it to her. At times, I have noticed her behavior and looked around to see if there was a tube visible to her - and yes that's what she was after. She is allowed only little nibbles at a time. And unless she's stolen a full tube, she only gets tubes when they are nearly empty. After eating all that remains, she loves to disasssemble and shred the container! Great fun and healthful too!
By the way, Kiwi is not the only pet that loves to eat your lip balm. Sadie, our chocolate lab will eat any tube she finds. Chester, my friend's Fox Terrier, will jump feet in the air over and over and just goes nuts to get the tube from me - even when he hears the lid pop off when I'm putting it on my lips. He'll come running from another room to get it!
It's a great product and we all love it!!!
