We
are a small family businessliving, working, and home schooling
in a pristine high elevation wilderness area in northeastern California.
Our organic gardens are fertilized with compost from our llama herd
and blue-green algae from our pond which makes our herbs very potent
and full of minerals and vital nutrients. All herbs used are organically
grown or respectfully wild-harvested. Those we are unable to grow ourselves
or wild craft, we acquire from other reputable organic growers.
Our
herbalist conducts workshops here in our off-the-grid wilderness setting,
and teaches around the country on a variety of herbal topics related
to human and animal health. She is a certified wildlife rehabilitationist.

The purchase of these products supports the care of injured and
orphaned wildlife.
We
are active members of United Plant Savers and dedicated to preserving
North American medicine plants. There are several threatened species
naturally growing on our land and we are continually planting more to
insure future availability. We also offer on site farm consultation
services to people interested in growing organic herbs for commercial
or personal use. Limited quantities of medicinal plant starts are available
Spring and Fall.
The
age-old relationship of people to plants is preserved by reverence for
whole-plant materials, each herb’s uniqueness, and time honored methods
of preparation. Our products are handmade at peak potency in small batches
to insure quality, consistency, and freshness. We provide premium herbals
to health care practitioners as well as those who wish to take responsibility
for their own health.
