Dioscorea villosa. Wild Yam has been highly regarded by many cultures for its use as an antispasmodic and in normalizing hormone production. Reputed to ease inflammation, menstrual cramps and menopausal symptoms. Has been used in cases of infertility, miscarriage, and morning sickness. It also works as a liver stimulant and a digestive aid. This herb may be best utilized in conjunction with other herbs that address female hormonal issues. We add it to our popular Female Formula.
Ingredients: Dry, Wild Yam root, certified organic cane alcohol and distilled water.
Caution: Not for use during pregnancy and lactation.
Suggested Use: Take 20 to 40 drops up to five times daily, under tongue. For maximum effectiveness, allow Wild Yam to be absorbed by mucus membranes in mouth rather than swallowing.
