Arctostaphylos uva-ursi. Uva-ursi is also called Bearberry, as bears love the small fruit. This plant is known to have been in use since the 2nd century as an herb to support health of the urinary tract. Before the introduction of sulfa drugs and antibiotics, Uva-ursi was commonly used for bladder and related infections. Research has shown that this herb has astringent effects that help shrink and tighten mucus membranes. This action helps to reduce inflammation and resist infection. This is a main ingredient in our Uva-Ursi Dandelion Blend. If infection is apparent and/or repeated, it is wise to combine with Immune-supportive herbs such as Omnimmune™ or Olive Leaf.

Ingredients: Dry, certified organic or wild Uva-ursi leaf, distilled water, and certified organic cane alcohol.

Cautions: Not to be used during pregnancy or with serious kidney disorders. Consult a practitioner for prolonged use or with irritated or acidic digestive conditions.

Suggested Use: Take 15 to 30 drops up to 4 times daily for up to a week. Take a few days off and repeat if necessary for up to another week.
